This Privacy Policy explains what information is, and isn't, collected when you use NetAuto Academy at netautoacademy.site ("the platform", "we", "us").

No account required

You do not need to create an account or sign in to access lessons, quizzes, labs, projects, or audio features. The vast majority of the platform can be used without providing any personal information at all.

Information we may collect

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically receives basic technical information from your browser when you visit (for example, the pages requested and general browser information) as part of ordinary web delivery. We do not currently collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifying information through the website itself, since there is no account system, sign-up form, or newsletter at this time.

Learning progress and localStorage

Your lesson, quiz, lab, and project completion progress is stored locally in your own browser using a technology called localStorage. This data stays on your device — it is not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. Clearing your browser data, or using a different browser or device, will reset this progress, since nothing is stored centrally.

Audio learning features

NetAuto Academy includes two optional audio features. "Teach This Lesson" uses your browser's own built-in text-to-speech capability to read a lesson aloud; this audio is generated locally by your browser and is not recorded or sent to us. Module Conversation provides pre-generated audio discussions for selected learning modules. NetAuto Academy does not collect or record your voice or microphone input through these audio features.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website does not currently set its own tracking cookies.

Analytics

We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics service. If we add an analytics tool in the future, it may collect information such as pages visited, time spent, and general usage patterns, in accordance with that service's own privacy policy, and this page will be updated before any such tool is activated.

External and third-party services

NetAuto Academy may link to third-party websites, tools, documentation, or services — for example, vendor documentation or open-source project pages. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of external websites or services.

Future advertising, including Google AdSense

NetAuto Academy may, in the future, use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense to help support the platform. If and when such services are introduced, they may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, in accordance with their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy will be updated before any advertising service is activated.

Third-party cookies and advertising cookies

If third-party advertising or analytics services are added in the future, they may place their own cookies in your browser, separate from anything set directly by NetAuto Academy. Those third parties are responsible for their own cookie and privacy practices.

Managing or disabling cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings or privacy menu. Note that this is separate from localStorage, which is a different browser storage mechanism — blocking cookies does not necessarily clear it, though you can also manage or clear it through your browser's own site-data settings if you'd like.

Data security

Because the platform does not currently require accounts or collect personal information, there is minimal personal data for us to store or secure. Any data related to your learning progress lives only in your own browser. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to describe the security measures in place at that time.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, as new features such as analytics or advertising are introduced. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
